Public Programs

Robertson County EMS offers a number of programs to the public.  If you would like information on any of the following, or if you have questions to see if we offer a program no listed, please contact us at (979) 828-4911.  We are always looking for new things to offer to our community!
Shattered Dreams
Shattered Dreams is a community education program that teaches local high school students the repercussions of drinking and driving.
Station and Ambulance Tours
Station and Ambulance Tours is another one of our community education programs.  This is a favorite for the little kids and gives them an opportunity to become familiar with an ambulance and EMS personnel.  By allowing kids to become familiar with us and our equipment, the anxiety is reduced in the event of a true emergency requiring transport by ambulance.  Robertson County EMS is available to come to your school, church, or community event and give a guided tour of our ambulance.  For more information please contact our office, (979) 828-4911 or email us at admin@rcems.org
Stop the Bleed

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
No matter how rapid the arrival of professional emergency responders, bystanders will always be first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop the blood loss. Those nearest to someone with life threatening injuries are best positioned to provide first care.

Vial of LIfe

The first thing first responders want to know is your list of medications. The difference between life and death when you’ve had a heart attack could be a copy of your previous EKG. When you can’t speak for yourself, when you are confused, in pain or scared, the Vial of Life can speak for you. Please click here for more information.  This is a free program that could save your life.
